As well as Spirulina they also contain Krill and Astaxanthin ( a natural compound that promotes colours)
Spirulina is a nutrionally superb form of algae and natures own powerrhouse, known to help the immune system amongst many other benefits.
We buy in bulk and turnover a large amount of pellets so they are always long dated.
Be aware that once exposed to the air their shelf life will start to decrease, this does not mean they will be unedible purely that certain vitamins will start to decay.
So ideally store in an airtight container, or as some people do freeze them and take out a few days supply at a time (defrosting before use).
