Testimonials.

Hi,

I would like to say how delighted I am with the service you give to customers.
I only placed my order with yourselves yesterday afternoon and since then I have received 2 emails giving details about my order and the order arrived today in the post less than 24hrs after placing my order.
Once again many thanks.

Hi Graeme, I can't believe how long the last lot lasted, the fish are doing really well on it, so once it's gone I will definitely be ordering again. The fish look great , really bright colours,I can't believe how much I save on flakes buying from you. The package arrived this morning very well packed as usual.
Thanks again.
Caroline.

Cut Tracklay to length of track, cut to end of rails not end of frogs, to ensure good butt fit to next section.

Peel of backing and apply track to sticky side.

Place and pin track and underlay to baseboard.

At this point you can either prepare your next section of track repeating the steps above or you can ballast this section of trackwork.

To ballast simply run a bead of pva glue on the baseboard at the edge of the underlay, then sprinkle on your ballast chippings, tamping down well between sleepers ( a small suitably sized block of wood is useful here)

Removal of excess can be done either by brush or by  gentle use of a vacuum cleaner, (ideally the 12 volt car type), use a clean bag so that the ballast collected can be re-used.

Take care at points to avoid getting ballast into moving parts, cutouts should be made in the Tracklay to accomodate the tie bar, Use a double width of Tracklay for points and crossovers and trim to desried shape with a craft knife.

Over several decades of selling Tracklay we have found that the only one way that the adhesive coating deteriorates  is if airborne dust is allowed to settle on the exposed adhesive. For this reason we recommend ballasting as soon as possible, should this not be possible for a length of time then provide some sort of supported cover over the exposed Tracklay.

Ballast chippings should always be rinsed and allowed to dry before use. This removes the inevitable dust from transport.
